The Hug

A foal hugs its mother, an intimate event that is rarely witnessed. Mother and baby are in a field in the Guadiaro Valley near Cortes de la Frontera in Southern Spain.

I had a yearling chew on the mother's mane and use a leg up on her side -- similar and different behaviour!!
